downtown business improvement association (BIA)

The Kincardine BIA is an association of commercial property owners and tenants who work in partnership with the Municipality to create a thriving, competitive,                        and safe downtown business area that attract shoppers, diners & tourists.  The BIA is a partner with PREDC and a member of Team Kincardine.

Lakeside Downtown Kincardine offers over 160 businesses including clothing stores, bookstores, children’s toys, beach supplies, restaurants, floral shops, gift                      stores and much more!

The BIA's role:

1. Encourage community involvement & ownership
2. Preserve & enhance downtown character
3. Ensure economic vitality
4. Promote downtown assets
5. Facilitate signage information and directions to get into & around downtown
6. Encourage residential living downtown
7. Keep the downtown safe
