Where is Kincardine? (map below)   LINK TO KINCARDINE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

The Municipality of Kincardine is located on the east coast of Lake Huron just below the base of the Bruce Peninsula.  Situated at the mouth of
the Penetangore River, it is one of eight municipalities in Bruce County, Ontario.

Kincardine is served by two provincial highways:  Provincial Highway 21, which travels north/south along Lake Huron, and Provincial Highway 9,                                                   which begins at the town of Kincardine and extends east.

Getting to and From Kincardine

Kincardine is easily accessible by road and within easy driving distances of urban centres.  The municipal airport with its GPS instrument approach                                              system can accommodate most executive turbo props and jet aircraft.  The potential of the airport as a platform for new economic development is                                           currently being studied by the PREDC Airport Task Force.
Kincardine is also accessible by recreation boats.  The harbour has an 8 foot draft and there are 154 slips at the marina.
